ADMISSION CRITERIA :

Age:   The candidates of 14-35 years of age on the day of start of session are eligible.

Age Relaxation:     

• Relaxation of upper age limit up to 45 years in case of ex-servicemen & war widows.
• The upper age limit of physically handicapped candidates has been relaxed by 10 years and kept as 35 years on the date of start of admission session.

Qualification:
The academic qualification prescribed for the trade varies from class VIII pass to Class XII pass depending upon the trade. The trade vise prescribed qualification are given in the list of the trades covered under CTS.

Reservation of Seats :

• All seats are reserved for the UP state domicile candidate. 90% seats are reserved for the candidates who have passed the minimum qualification from the UP & 10% seats are reserved for the candidates who have passed the minimum qualification from other state equivalent to UP board. Their Qualification must be verified from the UP Board.
• Seats of SC/ST, OBC & women candidates can be filled up based on the general reservation policy of UP Govt. 
• If the seats meant for them are not utilized fully, the same can be filled in by general candidates subsequently.

Selection:

Selection of candidates for admission in Industrial Training Institutes/Centres start well in advance of the commencement of each session. Admission should as far as possible, be completed by the date of starting of the session. Where it may be necessary to continue admission beyond the date of commencement of the session for filling vacant seats, it should not in any case go beyond one month of the date in the case of two-year trades.

As per the recommendation of NCVT admission in ITI are to be made purely on merit based on the marks secured by the candidate in the public examination of the minimum qualification prescribed for the individual trade.

Start of Session:  Session in ITI starts from 1st August every year.

Fees for Application cum Registration:  Rs. 100/- (One hundred only)

Mode of Selection:

Admission will be made purely on merit on the marks secured by the candidates in the public examinations of the minimum qualification prescribed for the respective trade. Admission of students into different trades of the institute is carried out as per the bellow given steps.

• A first round screening is performed based upon the percentage of marks obtained by the student in the qualifying examination. i.e. High School.
• In second round a written test is carried out to know the student's study ability.
• In the 3rd and final phase an interview with the student and their parent is carried out.

Admissions are made every year from June to August. A candidate seeking admission to any course or training must register him/herself by submitting a duly completed Registration and Admission Application Form prescribes by the institute along with necessary documents and the requisite fee. Only one form is required to be filled in for consideration of admission to all courses offered by the institute.

The principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason what so ever, irrespective of his/her meeting the requirements for admission.

In all matters relation to selection/admission and in the matter of interpretation of the above mentioned clauses, the decision of the management and the principal will be final and binding on all concerned.

The particulars or part of that given by the candidate if found incorrect, the candidate can be expelled from Institute.
